Frequently Asked Questions

I’m so excited to book a dinner party with you! What is included in this service? Can I tip?

Every dinner party service features a consultation to learn about your event, a curated menu, meal preparation and presentation, non-alcoholic beverage service (water, tea, and coffee), clean-up, and event rental break-down and return. (To read about the booking process, click here.) Tips are always welcomed and appreciated!

Will you provide the menu for my dinner party or do I need to create one myself?

I provide varied menu options for you to choose from, but I do love client feedback and client involvement with menu planning. If you have a specific request, I will do my best to accommodate it, but it is important that I am able to present the dish to your party with complete confidence.

Do you offer wine pairings with the menus you create?

Yes! I can offer wine pairing recommendation for an additional fee.

What dessert options do you offer?

You’ll find my style for dessert is upscale but approachable, and includes everything from chevre panna cotta to apricot bombes or salted caramel melting cakes. If you like cheesecake, you’re in luck! I make a variety of individual cheesecakes, including lavender and honey, brown butter streusel, and white chocolate and cardamom.

When cooking for dinner parties, what type of dietary requests are you able to accommodate? Are you able to accommodate two people attending the dinner who have certain dietary restrictions, or does the menu have to be the same for the entire party?

I am able to offer vegetarian and vegan fare as well as gluten-free, dairy-free, and sugar-free items. The current pricing is contingent on each guest eating from the same menu; additional requests incur a $25 fee per person.

Should I purchase the food or is menu procurement included in the total cost?

I want you to feel relaxed from start to finish, so leave the grocery shopping to me. I will provide all the food for your dinner party or cooking lesson, and the cost of the food is built in to both service options. Additionally, I offer in-home meal preparation services throughout the Tulsa area. I source ingredients for this service, too. This particular service is a separate charge and will be scheduled for reimbursement when the invoice is due.

I would love to hire a florist to make floral arrangements for my party, but I don’t know where to start. Can you help?

Of course! I am happy to procure special services for your dinner party, including floral arrangements, rentals, and bar service from top-tier vendors around Tulsa and Park City.

I want to take cooking or baking lessons with you! How does it work?

Cooking and baking lessons are fun for date night or even Tulsa bachelorette parties and birthday parties. Lessons are designed for a minimum of two people and a maximum of 10 people, as long as the home has enough room to accommodate everyone in the kitchen area. Your lesson will be hosted in your home - I’ll bring everything we need!
